I checked a lot of your studies ( u totally rock at still life) and they r good, but believe me, you should start already working on what u wanna do, cause u ll learn a lot on illustration not only frtom studies, but doing it ( if i misunderstood, for my bad english, and u already r making illustration, forgive please this ignorant italian)
however this is was just an idea, cause I know the determination u need to do this all the hours, all the days, always keeping the mind fresh..so congrats mate and keep fighting..I hope we ll succeed---
I started with studiing art seriusly on November last year, i try to work as hard as i can and i can clearly see the progress.
That still lifes and other paintings clearly show that i was able to render much better than draw, so for past 3 months i work mostly on lines.
I didin't expect that i'll learn so much in only 3 months but yeah.. i really try to push myself to the limit, i'm critical and fair to myself (i don't say it's good if i know it sucks), i analize my studies (which is very important) and when i study, i study - no internet/msn/mobile or whatever decrease concentartion.
I know that it's important to work on personal projects too - where you practise what you've learned, so i'll start with that too sooner or later.
About succeed.. if you've set goal, if you'll work hard to achieve it, you'll succeed no matter what.
If you listen to Dave's advices, if you've seen Algenpfleger's SB on CA and guys like he, you know that nothing is imposible.
Just dedicate to what you want to do in your life and you'll get it.
